If you have been watching the news you have seen that COVID-19 cases are on the rise throughout the country. I am happy to report that all employee and Skilled Nursing residents have tested negative twice this week. We will be testing employees and residents once more early next week if everyone’s results return negative we can go back to only testing staff once a week.
We can continue all scheduled visitations. To continue with best practice, visitors who have scheduled an inside visit will need to provide a negative COVID-19 test result within the past week. Outdoor visits do not require a COVID-19 test. Your patience is appreciated as we work together to follow guidelines and procedures to safe guard our residents and families during visits. It takes everyone’s help and it is so important that we approach the care of your loved one as a team.
Due to limited visitation space a reservation is required for all visits. Scheduling software is available for visitors to go on-line to schedule both inside and outside visits based on availability at https://stmartinsinthepinesvisits.setmore.com. If you need further assistance with scheduling, contact Tina Knowles HERE.
Please remember visitation times are limited, we ask that family members be considerate and schedule no more than one visit per week per resident. Compassionate visits for end of life may occur in a resident’s room. These visits must also be scheduled so that we can let the resident know to expect a visitor. We enjoy giving residents something to look forward to and visits qualify.
Please be aware at this time per regulation, Woodside and Evergreen residents are able to leave the community.
Should you wish to drop supplies for a resident, you may continue to do so at the security gate. We suggest nonperishable items only to avoid spoilage.
We have signed up to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and will start to collect consent forms for the administration for those wishing to subscribe. We will notify you as soon as we receive additional information.
We want to assure everyone that we are doing everything possible to keep your loved ones safe at St. Martin’s in the Pines.
